Your LTC Packing List

We'll give you a big welcome and get you settled in, but there's some stuff you'll need to bring with you...

Clothing

DRESS CODE

LTC is an extension of school - therefore, school dress codes apply*. Delegates are expected to dress appropriately and sensibly for LTC. The following standards apply:

  • Clothing must be safe and practical for all activities.
  • NO clothing with logos or phrases containing references to violence, sexual acts, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or derogatory statements or suggestions.
  • NO clothing that does not fully cover the person’s undergarments.
  • NO bare midriffs or low cut shirts.
  • Nothing excessively tight or short; pants and shorts must cover a person’s bottom completely at all times (including while seated). Shorts & skirts should be at least as long as a person's fingertips when their arms are relaxed at their sides.

*Delegates may be asked to change their apparel if it does not meet the above standards.

CLOTHING LIST

"Passion" T Shirt - pack a shirt that shows everyone what your passion is (i.e. soccer, theater, etc.). Delegates and staff members will "wear their passion" on Day 3 of LTC...who knows what passions you may share with your fellow delegates or our staff members!

Birthday Party Outfit - we will celebrate LTC's birthday with a special dinner and dance on the evening of Day 2 at LTC. Wear your favorite "smart casual" festive fit.

  • Examples - sundress, nice shorts or pants and a collared shirt (see the photos below for examples)
  • Heels & Dress Shoes are welcome, but not required - be ready to dance!

Sneakers & Socks - athletic footwear is needed for the LTC games on Day 2.

Jacket or Sweatshirt* - classrooms and townhouses are air conditioned and can get chilly

Rain Gear - in case of inclement weather, as we do walk (in groups) between buildings on campus

*We will be selling LTC sweatshirts and sweatpants this year!!!

Other Stuff You'll Want to Bring

  • Pillow and Sleeping Bag/Blanket/Sheets (beds are extra long twin) - we DO NOT provide linens!
  • Sweatshirt/Sweatpants* or warm sleepwear - townhouses are air conditioned and can get chilly
  • Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Toiletries
  • Soap, Shampoo, and Towels
  • Flip-flops or shower shoes
  • Drawstring bag or backpack - to carry your provided LTC binder
  • Writing implements
