LTC...Again!

If you attended LTC in Middle School and wanted to come back for more, we've got some GREAT NEWS!

What's this all about?

For several years, delegates who attended LTC in Middle School have been asking about whether they could return as a high school delegate in our Regular LTC program BEFORE coming back for the LTC Advanced program (only open to rising sophomores and older). Despite many requests, this has not been an option...until NOW!

So, can I really come back to LTC...Again?

Maybe. Here's the two BIG QUESTIONS that define whether you can take advantage of LTC...AGAIN to come back as a high school delegate in our Regular program again...

  • Did you attend LTC in Middle School prior to entering 7th or 8th grade?
  • Will you will be entering 9th or 10th grade in September?

If the answer to BOTH questions is YES, then you can come back to LTC...Again as a delegate in our Regular LTC program! You would be placed into a HIGH SCHOOL townhouse - while many of the activities and workshops are the same, you will see and experience them from a different (and older) perspective. We think you'll enjoy LTC all over again while learning new and important lessons. You just need to promise not to give away any secrets to your fellow delegates who are there for the first time!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still do LTC Advanced?
YES! You can come back to LTC for a third time - to become part of the LTC Advanced GREEN TEAM when entering 10th grade (or later).

I went to LTC prior to 7th grade...can I go again prior to 8th grade?
NO. The LTC...AGAIN experience is only open to past delegates who will be entering grades 9 or 10. You may only attend LTC once while in Middle School.

If I do LTC...AGAIN this year can I do LTC...AGAIN (again) next year?
NO. You can only take advantage of LTC...AGAIN once, either the summer before entering 9th grade OR the summer before entering 10th grade. However, you could do LTC...AGAIN the summer before entering 9th grade and then LTC Advanced the summer before entering 10th grade.

I went to LTC in Middle School, but I am entering 11th grade. Can I take advantage of LTC...AGAIN?
NO. If you will be entering 11th (or 12th) grade, you will need to attend the LTC Advanced program in order to come back to LTC. LTC...AGAIN is only for past delegates entering 9th or 10th grade.

I will be entering 10th grade...can I just go to LTC Advanced without doing LTC...AGAIN?
YES. The LTC Advanced program remains open to any past delegate who will be entering 10th grade or above. You do NOT need to attend the Regular LTC program twice in order to register for LTC Advanced.

Will my current Middle School pay for this, since I will be attending a different (high) school next year?
NO. Their primary focus, and rightly so, is on sending delegates who will remain in their school next year. You should NOT have any expectation of financial support from a school you will soon be leaving.

Will my new High School pay for this, since I will be attending there next fall?
NO. Their primary focus, and rightly so, is on sending delegates who are among their current student leaders. You should NOT have any expectation of financial support from a school you have not entered yet.

So, what school would I "represent" and how would my registration fee get paid?
You would be in a HIGH SCHOOL townhouse, and when registering you would indicate the school you will be attending next fall. As for your registration fee, we have discovered that many PARENTS are more than willing to pay the registration fee for their child to gain from the LTC experience. In fact, parent requests were one of the driving forces behind our decision to introduce LTC...AGAIN!

Where do I sign up?

Registration for LTC...AGAIN is through the same Online Delegate Registration Form as for first-time delegates. However, when selecting the program you must choose "LTC...Again" and then indicate the year you first attended LTC. You can attend either Session 1 or Session 2, the choice is yours!
