what should you bring to ltc?

When you arrive at LTC, we'll give you a big welcome and help you settle in for a great experience.

Read on to find out what you'll really need to bring with you for four days and three nights you'll never forget!

CLOTHING

Delegates are expected to dress appropriately and sensibly for LTC. The following standards apply:

  • Clothing must be safe and practical for all activities.
  • NO clothing with logos or phrases containing references to violence, sexual acts, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or derogatory statements or suggestions.
  • NO clothing which does not fully cover the person’s under garments.
  • NO bare midriffs or low cut shirts
  • Nothing excessively tight or short; pants and shorts must cover a person’s bottom completely at all times (including while seated).

Be sure to bring all of the following, too...

  • Sneakers and socks (you'll need them for the LTC Games)
  • Jacket or Sweatshirt (classrooms are air conditioned, for cool evenings)
  • WARM Sleepwear and/or Sweats (townhouses are air conditioned and can be quite chilly at night!)
  • Rain Gear (rain jacket/poncho, folding umbrella)

DRESSING UP FOR THE BIRTHDAY DINNER

  • Females - a nice dress, shoes, etc.
  • Males - sport coat/jacket, tie, dress shirt, socks, shoes, etc.

Other things you'll WANT TO HAVE WITH YOU

  • Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Toiletries
  • Suntan Lotion (especially if you burn easily)
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Soap, Shampoo, and Towels
  • Flip-flops or shower shoes
  • Pillow and Sleeping Bag/Blanket/Sheets (beds are extra long twin)
  • Blanket/Comforter (see about chilly townhouses above!)
  • Writing implements
  • Individual small snacks or beverages (also sold at the LTC Conference Store)
  • Musical Instruments or other props for the Delegate Talent Show
  • $30.00-40.00 Spending Money for snacks, LTC shirts/shades, souvenirs, DVD Video of session, etc.
